The tufts of technical brushes vary depending on the intended function of the finished product. They can be made from three main categories of materials: natural bristles, plastic fibers and metallic filaments. For special applications, we can also provide food-grade certified materials or antistatic and conductive fibers, making them suitable for ATEX certification when required. Beyond the material composition, tuft size and arrangement on the body play a crucial role in determining the brush's effectiveness. From a size perspective, larger tufts are preferred for heavy-duty tasks that require thicker filaments, while for delicate applications, thin filaments grouped into smaller tufts are used. Regarding tuft arrangement, different configurations serve specific purposes: a staggered arrangement creates a dense and uniform brush surface, an aligned arrangement reduces density, making it easier to discharge debris and a helical arrangement allows precise directional control of waste flow.
